It Works Great: but 2 hours in the oven at 200 degrees is not worth it.

We purchased two for our safe. They worked great, but after 1 month, they were ‘full’ and necessitated to be re-activated.
To re-activate, you need to heat in oven for 2 hours at 200 degrees! So, we did that and they were ready to use.
Then, after a few weeks, they necessitated to be re-activated again. After giving careful consideration to the expense of such, we tossed them,
spent a few more bucks and got a larger brand with an a/c plug-in to reactivate. Wow! That was a great decision.
I’d consider this re-activation cost for a 2 hour gas or electrical usage assorted times a year.

This Product Saved Our Stuff!

Several of our electronics were destroyed by moisture harm in one of our recent moves (from Texas to Florida). When we found out we were moving to Hawaii, I stocked up on these canisters and packed them with all of our electronics as well as with my husband’s uniforms. Everything arrived in perfective condition after journeying throughout the country on a tractor trailer and throughout the ocean on a freighter. The canisters showed signs of green, which meant that they had done their job! I have reactivated them and use them for a assortment of things around the house and will most unquestionably use them for our next move! A little investment has saved us a lot of cash and aggravation!

It’s working great inside a little fireproof safe

I reluctantly purchased this because I noticed a lot of reviews said the device required reactivating too often. I’ve been using the device for 2 months and I haven’t had to activate it yet. And it’s evidently doing it is occupation inside the safe because I have no more bad odors from moisture. Also, I may see the silica altering tardily getting bluer each time I open the safe. I wonder if a heap of of the reviewers are using too huge of an area for the size of the canister? It’s a little device, so it’s in all probability too little for a gun safe unless it’s only the size of a few pistols.
Otherwise, the device works as advertised. I would buy it again.
