 Fragile

We purchased this along with a queen-sized mattress protector. The base of our bed is made of an adaptable metal and the cover gets torn on the sides when we position it over the bed frame. Adhesive tape may do the trick but expected it to be sturdier.

We ordered this item as a precaution versus bedbugs in our apartment. We heard that some apartments in the same complex (and perhaps the same building) had bedbug infestations, so we wanted to make sure none would infest in our apartment by getting in through the connected walls and such.
Anyways, putting this thing on our boxspring wasn’t hard– I actually did it by myself, and I’m a 5’3, 110lb girl. You just have to be sure to be careful not to rip it– the vinyl material seems a little fragile, so I primarily expended most of my energy attempting to conservatively slide it on inch by inch. If you pull to hard, I think it might break. Anyways, it’d be a lot having little impact to put on with two people, and you’d lessen the likelihood of ripping it.
Anyways, we haven’t had any bedbug difficulties so far, so all is good– I don’t know if we were at risk for having bedbugs in the introductory place, but I’m glad we don’t, and I’m glad they can’t get into our boxspring!

 A must have item for anybody suffering from bed bugs

I purchased the Sleep Safe Boxspring, Mattress cover, and pillow case covers after not long ago discovering I have bed bugs. It’s been a month and I’m happy to say I am waking up “bite free”! These covers in truth work! I would advise you to be tame with both covers when putting it on the boxspring and mattress as they are rather thin. I’d likewise like to note they are not straight plastic on the outside but have a soft-brushed top. After putting on my regular mattress cover over these coverings and a couple nights sleep, there was no noise from the covers, which was initially a concern of mine. I know these covers are a bit pricey, but if you are getting bit each night like I was and don’t want to invest hundreds in a new mattress, this will do the trick! Be sure to cover your pillow cases too if you go to all the disturb with your boxspring and mattress or those nasty little bugs with find a new place to harbor.
